A family photograph is not just a wall ornament. It is a document: an instant of a family configuration at a given moment. In ten years, children will have grown, grandparents may no longer be there, the image will have become precious. Family photography at the Bénédictins studio is conceived with this horizon.
The family portrait in studio
The Bénédictins studio allows complete light and background control. Classic format: neutral background, soft light, several configurations (family sitting, standing, parents with children, children alone). Session lasts 30 effective minutes.
The family portrait outdoors
Banks of the Vienne, Victor-Thuillat park, Limousin countryside. Outdoor radically changes rendering: natural light, lively atmosphere, children who can run.
Including grandparents
Multigenerational family sessions are among the most precious. Three or four generations in one image is rare and short. The session is organized at studio or at home depending on elder mobility.
Annuals and continuities
Many families return each year. The annual family session, taken always at the same period, allows building a series over time.

None. Families of 15 people are regularly photographed at the studio. Beyond, outdoor or home is preferable.
Must we dress matching? ⌄
Neutral tones or restricted palette. Avoid highly contrasted prints and logos.
